…a still small voice

Field after clearingJust this August a small portion of my land was cleared for my horses, Jack and Bebe, and pet cow Holly, pictured below in front of brush before the clearing.

The prediction is for warm, dry weather this fall ideal for fencing. We have had an unusually wet summer. In fact many hay growers have lost crop to army worms so there may be a scarcity of good quality hay this winter. Before w_Holly

While a desire to return to the Northwest is still strong, all doors have opened wide to improve my property here in Tennessee and commit to managing low income housing for  24 seniors where I have worked since January. So, I walk through open doors and follow the still small voice.

Then He said, “Go out and stand on the mountain before the LORD.” And behold the LORD passed by, and a great and strong wind tore into the mountains and broke the rocks in pieces before the LORD, but the LORD was not in the wind; and after the wind an earthquake, but the LORD was not in the earthquake, and after the earthquake a fire, but the LORD was not in the fire; and after the fire a still small voice. 1 Kings 19:11-12 NKJV
