Annette, Thank you. The tree is directly across from my porch and sliding glass windows. I was talking on my cell phone and looked up to see the cardinal in the tree. It stayed just long enough for me to grab my camera and take one photo. The zoom lens was still in my camera bag. By the time I changed lenses to get a close up, the cardinal had flown away. The camera now has the zoom lens attached and so I am ready for the next visit!
